GHAM Naturals is a family-run soap workshop in Los Angeles. It started with a simple frustration: hot showers that left skin dry, tight and smelling like nothing at all. So we began making the soap we wanted to use — and we still make every bar by hand, 13 at a time.

Weighed by hand, 13 bars at a time
Every batch is measured by hand and makes just 13 bars. Our base is olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter and mango butter — with grass-fed tallow in our tallow bars.

Cold process, no shortcuts
Oils and lye are mixed at room temperature and stirred to trace — no cooking. Saponification happens slowly in the mold, and the natural glycerin it creates stays in every bar.

Botanicals chosen for each bar
Each formula adds its own oils and botanicals — tamanu, apricot, sweet almond, rosehip, calendula and chamomile in our face and body bars; batana, amla and bhringraj in our shampoo bars — along with clays, goat milk, honey or oats where the recipe calls for them.

Poured, rested, cut by hand
Each loaf sets overnight and is cut by hand, which is why bars vary slightly in edge and color.

Cured 6–8 weeks
Bars rest on curing racks for six to eight weeks until the water has evaporated and the bar is firm. A well-cured bar lathers richer and lasts longer in the shower.

Checked before it ships
Every single bar is checked by hand before it's wrapped and shipped. Nothing leaves the workshop that we wouldn't use ourselves.
