Clay and charcoal bars for shine-prone skin.
Clays and activated charcoal bind to surface oil and grime, so the bar does the work instead of a harsh detergent. Formulated for skin that looks shiny by midday.
- •Skin that looks shiny a few hours after washing
- •Combination skin — oily forehead and nose, drier cheeks
- •Post-workout and end-of-day washing
- •Anyone who wants a deep-cleansing bar without acids or sulfates

- Bentonite clay
- The most absorbent clay we use — binds surface oil.
- French green clay
- Mineral-rich, mattifying, still gentle enough for daily use.
- Activated charcoal
- Highly porous carbon that grabs oil and grime.
- Matcha green tea
- Antioxidant-rich botanical with a bright, fresh finish.
- Tea tree & lemongrass
- Fresh-smelling essential oils (named in every list).
- Castor & coconut oil
- Builds the dense lather that carries the clay.
Every bar's complete ingredient list is published on its own product page — including any fragrance source.
Which bar should you pick?
- →Very oily or post-gym? Bentonite and charcoal give the deepest clean.
- →Combination skin? French green clay or matcha is more balanced.
- →Dry patches too? Alternate with a butter-rich bar from the dry-skin page.
- →Using it on the face? Once daily is plenty to start.
Clay soap works mechanically rather than chemically: the clay platelets have a huge surface area and a slight charge, so they hold on to sebum and grime and rinse away with the lather. That's why a clay bar can feel like a deep clean without the tightness a foaming face wash leaves behind.
Every bar here pairs its clay or charcoal with conditioning fats — olive oil, coconut, shea or cocoa butter — so it cleans thoroughly without going too far. Cured six to eight weeks like everything else we make.
Formulated for oily-feeling skin. These are cosmetic cleansers and are not intended to treat acne or any other skin condition.
